Scavenger Hunt

For those of you who are game for an adventure on the Saturday before our wedding, Mark Crawford is designing a scavenger hunt that will run from 10am to 5pm with four goals in mind:

1. fun
2. bond with other guests
3. get to know Lander better
4. find out more about us as a couple

The scavenger hunt will begin and end at City Park, so you'd be able to segue right into the picnic on Saturday night and share stories from your day with other guests.

A word about Mark Crawford for those of you who don't yet know him...

Anna is convinced that Mark was put on this earth to love his family and design amazing experiences for others. To celebrate his childrens' milestones, he has dug mud pits in his backyard, created volcano cakes that explode, devised high angle ropes courses, and been the mastermind behind diabolical challenges. Anna first met Mark as his student on a Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician Course. While she gained excellent training in pre-hospital care that month, what she remembers most vividly from that class was the avalanche Mark simulated as well as the stuffed mountain lion on a pulley system in a tree (so it could leap down on unsuspecting rescuers), the fake helicopter crash complete with smoke and pyrotechnics, and Mark roaming between student groups during a night scenario in fatigues and night vision googles.

So. Much. Fun.

Suffice to say that if Anna could find a bronze bust of Mark, she'd put it on our mantlepiece (if we had one). We are beyond grateful to Mark for this gift-- devising an adventure for friends and family who are gathered together for our wedding weekend.

In order to craft this escapade, Mark has asked us to have interested parties RSVP by filling out this questionnaire so that he can tailor the experience to its participants:
